Building a small studio with a big heart

Co founding and co creating Write Leela Write in Bangalore was one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. It was a journey filled with nerves and laughter. We were right in the middle of everything Bangalore was becoming during the early startup boom, and we grew along with it.

For seven meaningful years, we learned how to build and hold a studio from the ground up. We learned how to work with honesty, how to create systems, how to collaborate, how to serve clients, and how to bring unusual ideas to life. We learned by experimenting, failing, improvising, and returning to the table again and again. Every mistake and every win shaped us.

It was a privilege to create this space with Rheea and to serve people who trusted us with their stories. We are grateful to everyone who was part of the journey, whether by working with us, paying us, encouraging us, or believing in us in any form.

After a full and rewarding seven years, we chose to close the studio. It felt like the right moment to pause, reflect, and move towards new paths. It was a mix of excitement, pride, and sadness, but also a sense of completion.
